Conditions of
Competition
Eligibility:
All contestants must be an active member of the WVGA. Teams must be comprised
of 1 male and 1 female at birth.
Field Limit is 104
players or 52 teams.
Format:
Gross and Net Divisions: 36
holes, split into 4 different 9-hole formats (Scramble, Pinehurst Alternate
Shot, Combined Score and Best Ball Net). Each 9-hole segment will be
handicapped using the USGA prescribed method for handicaps (Ref: Section
9-4b(ii)). The Team with lowest two-day net score will be the Champion. A tie
for the Championship will be determined immediately following the final round
in a sudden death playoff.
Entry Fees and
Refunds: Entry Fee includes Golf, Golf Cars, Dinner Saturday night, and
prizes. All players are responsible for submitting complete entry forms and
appropriate fees by the deadlines: 4:30PM on August 4th for
($300). Late, unsigned, incomplete or faxed entries WILL NOT be accepted.
Entry fees will be refunded regardless of reason if the WVGA is notified by
the entry deadline (888) 383-9842. If after the deadline, entries will be
refunded for reason of illness or injury if the WVGA is notified by the 1st
day of the Championship. No refunds will be given if notified beyond the
first day of the Championship. A $20 service charge will be assessed for ALL
refunds.

Automotive Golf Cars are mandatory for the
Championship. Any specific Local Rules will be handed out at the beginning
of the Championship.
